The Cybersecurity Diploma is designed to meet the needs of the local labor market. Training is conducted in four divided semesters, each lasting eight weeks, for a total of (1,760) training hours, in addition to (360) hours of practical training in the labor market, equivalent to (77) credit hours.

This program provides training in specialized skills in the field of cybersecurity, providing trainees with a broad understanding, sound awareness, and practical skills in the field of cybersecurity, including operating systems, website and communications security, software security, and cloud computing. Trainees will also learn skills that will help them detect cyber intrusions carried out by criminal entities, with the aim of obtaining financial benefits by stealing data from individuals, public institutions, or government entities.

Graduates of this program are awarded a diploma or associate degree in cybersecurity. They are expected to work in fields related to cybersecurity, including: Information Security Coordinator. Assistant Information Security Manager, Information Security Administrator, Assistant Cybersecurity Investigator, and other jobs related to cybercrime and information security.

This program aims to qualify trainees to work in the field of cybersecurity and achieve Level 5 on the National Qualifications Framework.

By the end of this program, trainees will be able and competent to perform the following tasks:

· Detect security breaches in network systems.

· Use the necessary technologies to detect cybercrimes.

· Develop electronic plans to combat attempts to decrypt information.

· Detect hacking attempts.

· Protect information security.

· Test for penetration testing of systems and networks.

· Understand international law and conventions related to the use of the internet and the exchange of information.
